OM (Operation Mobilisation)

Tuks Missions has worked alongside OM for many years to connect and mobilize students into ministry opportunities. Their building, bookshop and coffee shop “The Link” is located very close to Hatfield main Campus (on the corner of South & Duncan Street) Every First Thursday of every month we attend The Fireplace on the roof of the OM buildings. What does OM do?

Working on every continent and on every ocean (via ocean-going ships), Operation Mobilisation seeks to demonstrate and proclaim the love of God. In every situation OM teams adapt to the local culture and situation, finding the best ways to share Jesus.

Through literature, the creative arts, friendship, Bible studies, videos and cassette tapes, correspondence courses, relief and development work, and much, much more… by all means possible we will tell people how our lives have been changed… and how they can meet Jesus.

Wherever possible, Operation Mobilisation works in partnership with the local church, encouraging and supporting local believers. Where there is no church… we seek to plant churches.

Who we are?

Over 6,100 people are serving with Operation Mobilisation to bring a message of hope to the peoples of the world.
We have one thing in common — we love Jesus and we want others to have the opportunity to hear about Him.
We are a faith-based, non-profit NGO. Our workers are unsalaried and must raise their own support.
OM seeks to help plant and strengthen churches, especially in areas of the world where Christ is least known.
